Ascorbic acids plays a very important role:
- Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is the most vital nutrient which is necessary for collagen synthesis.
- Our blood vessels and connective tissues are all made up of collagen.
- Deficiency of vitamin C leads to Scurvy where blood vessels get damaged and blood tries to ooze out.
- Vitamin C repairs the damaged blood vessels.
- For improving cardiovascular health Vitamin C needs to be given in high doses through supplements because our body does not make this vitamin on its own. Moreover, the quantity obtained from food is not sufficient.
Riboflavin has several functions to perform.
- It is necessary for carbohydrate, fat & protein metabolism.
- It helps in the formation of antibodies and red blood cells; maintains cell respiration.
- It is also necessary for the maintenance of good vision, skin, nails & hair; alleviates eye fatigue and promotes general health.
Role of L-Lysine:
- Lysine is very essential to form collagen (which makes up bone, cartilage, connective tissues, and Blood vessels).
- It is also essential for formation of various enzymes, hormones and antibodies.
- As this amino acid is not made in the body it has to be supplemented from food or as a dietary supplement.
- It is not only a building block for blood vessels (Collagen) but it also helps in removing the arterial plaque from the arteries.

Role of L-Arginine
Arginine is an amino acid and is a source of (NO) Nitric oxide which is a neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and improves circulation.
L-Arginine is used in the production of proteins and is involved in removing ammonia from the body and stimulates the production of insulin.
- It helps in maintaining blood pressure
- It is also useful in erectile dysfunction.

Magnesium
Role of Magnesium:
- Magnesium plays a very important role in heart health.
- Magnesium ions help in reducing vascular resistance and is very important for maintaining blood pressure.
- Magnesium also helps regulate body temperature. Magnesium is involved in several enzymic reactions in the body. Magnesium also helps in the absorption of Calcium and Phosphorous in the bones in the presence of Calcitonine.
Amla Extract
Role of amla extract:
Amla extract reduces totol cholesterol and lowers LDL cholesterol, Triglycerides and lipoprotein(a).
It is also a potent antioxidant. It acts as an inhibitor of cholesterol synthesis similar to statins.
Its cholesterol lowering ability is comparable to that of statins.
Zinc
Role of Zinc:
Zinc is a micronutrient and is essential for various biochemical reactions. Zinc is an important trace element in the body. It plays a critical role in maintaining cellular structure and functions and is also involved in gene expression and cell growth and differentiation as a catalytic and structural cofactor. According to Little et al., plasma zinc levels decrease with age and have a strong association with increasing cardiovascular disease (CVD); thus, there is an association between zinc deficiency and increased CVD
Chromium
Role of Chromium:
Chromium is an essential trace mineral that can improve insulin sensitivity and enhance protein, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism. It is a metallic element that people need very small quantities.
