Speedy driving is a risk factor for a car.
The message I wish to convey to you is that speedy driving is a behavior. It indicates the behavior of the car, assuming the driver is a robot.
If the car stopped functioning for some reason or another other what would you do to find the cause of the problem? How was the driver behaving? Was he driving slowly or fast? If you go to the mechanic, what question will he ask you? Will he ask you questions about your behaviour and then determine the cause of the car failure?
Ancel Keys used this method to find the cause of heart disease. He associated eating saturated fats, smoking, drinking alcohol & physical inactivity ( Risk Factors ) as the cause of heart disease.
What mistake are we making? We are taking it for granted that the associated cause is the underlying cause or the root cause of heart disease. And above everything, we are hoping to improve our heart health, diabetic health, and cholesterol health by addressing the risk factors. [ Very carefully coined as Lifestyle changes ]
